Justification
Justification was the theme of the Reformation and it is revealed clearly in Romans and Galatians.
What is Justification?
It is an immutable fact in
the judgments of God. Rom. 4:25, 5:16, 5:18
It is the eternal standing of the ungodly who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Rom 4:5 Rom. 8:30
It is a declared righteousness to the believer. Acts 13:39
It is being accounted “just” before the court of God. Rom. 5:1 1 Cor. 6:11
Rom. 4:17b and calleth those things which be not as though they were.
The elements of justification
· Forgiveness of sins Acts 13:39,40
· Peace with God Rom. 5:1
· Reconciliation Rom 5:9, 10 Col. 1:21
· Become an heir of God Titus 3:7 Rom. 8:17
Job 25:4 How then can man be justified with God?
Not of works. Gal. 2:16
Not by the deeds of the law. Rom. 3:20, 28
No one has to be 100% obedient to the law. Rom. 4:5
It is not by “Love to God.” We love him because he first loved us.
A man is dead in sin until he is regenerated. Eph. 2
It is not through sacraments, saints or self-improvements.
It is exclusive through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Rom. 5:17
Rom 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Arguments against justification by faith:
James 2 faith without works is dead
Matthew 24 he that endureth unto the end shall be saved
Hebrews says, “For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins.”
Arguments answered:
James is a practical epistle and shouldn’t be used to overthrow the Pauline
doctrine. My faith has the work of Jesus Christ. Matthew was written to those in
Judea during the tribulation. Always check the context! Hebrews I believe is a
transitional book for those who will be here during the tribulation. INTERPET
